Including the already-known inclusions of Claire Denis’ “Both Sides of the Blade,” and Francois Ozon’s “Peter Von Kant,” highlights of the competition will include Ulrich Seidl’s “Rimini” (formerly titled “Wicked Games”), Phyllis Nagy’s Sundance title “Call Jane,” and Hong Sang-Soo (him again) back in Berlin with “The Novelist’s Film.” The sidebars seem to be just as exciting as the competition. Bertrand Bonello’s “Coma,” one of his two films this year, will be part of the Encounters program, so will Peter Strickland’s “Flux Gourmet” and Quentin Dupieux’s “Incredible But True.” It also does look as though Angela Schanelec’s “Music, which has been in the can since last summer,” will be going for a Cannes premiere.
